About Vanmoofista

Vanmoofista is an independent VanMoof repair workshop in Lint, Belgium.

The workshop focuses on keeping older VanMoof bikes on the road, especially S1, S2, X2, S3 and X3 models.

Vanmoofista is not an official VanMoof service partner. This is a deliberate choice. Vanmoofista remains independent so repair decisions can be made around the bike, the fault and the customer — not around a brand service contract.

Independent by design

Vanmoofista stays independent to keep a repair-first approach: diagnose the actual fault, explain the available options, reuse parts where appropriate, support older models and share practical repair knowledge instead of hiding it behind a closed service system.

When original parts are the best option, Vanmoofista says so. When a reused part, wiring repair, battery diagnosis, cartridge repair or practical workaround is better for the customer, Vanmoofista says that too.

Vanmoofista does not sell official status as a substitute for trust. Trust has to be earned through careful diagnosis, clear communication, fair repair advice, reused parts where suitable and honest feedback when a bike is not worth repairing.

Repair-first approach

Many VanMoof problems do not require replacing complete systems. A bike that does not wake up, does not charge, shows an error code or disconnects from the app needs proper diagnosis before expensive parts are replaced.

Vanmoofista works from the fault outward: battery, cartridge, wiring, motor connection, e-shifter, buttons, lights, brakes and mechanical parts.

The goal is simple: repair what can be repaired, reuse what can be reused, and replace only what truly needs replacement.

Why Vanmoofista exists

Older VanMoof bikes are too useful and too well-designed to become waste because of one failed component, missing official support or unavailable new parts.

Vanmoofista exists for riders who want a practical alternative: real diagnosis, honest repair advice and a repair-first route for keeping their bike alive.

Location

Vanmoofista works by appointment from the atelier in Lint, Belgium.

Customers come from Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, Mechelen, the rest of Belgium and sometimes the Netherlands.
