Vanmoofista is an independent repair atelier in Lint, Belgium. We are not an official VanMoof service partner. We focus on keeping older VanMoof bikes usable through real diagnosis, repair, reuse and clear advice before replacing expensive parts.

We diagnose and repair common VanMoof problems: battery faults, charging problems, bikes that do not wake up, app connection issues, error codes, e-shifter faults, kicklock problems, wiring harness failures, cartridge faults, brake problems, lights, buttons and general mechanical maintenance.
The focus is simple: find the real cause, repair where possible, reuse parts when sensible, and replace only what truly needs replacement.

Repairs are done by appointment only at the atelier in Lint.
Initial diagnosis
The real cause is checked before replacing parts. An error code is treated as a symptom, not a complete diagnosis.
Repair proposal
You receive an explanation of what is wrong, what can be repaired, what must be replaced, and the expected cost.
Repair-first work
When technically and economically sensible, parts are repaired or reused instead of replacing complete assemblies.
Final test
The bike is tested before pickup.
Important: the final repair cost can only be confirmed after diagnosis. VanMoof electrical faults can have several causes at the same time, especially on bikes with battery, cartridge, wiring or water-damage problems.

Battery and charging
Deep discharge, charging failure, error 20, error 21, error 22 and battery communication problems.
E-shifter and drivetrain
Error 44, shifting problems, stuck gears, noisy shifting and conversion advice when the original system is unreliable.
Wiring and electronics
Harness failures, cartridge faults, button problems, lights, kicklock issues and electrical diagnostics.
Refurbished VanMoof bikes
We sometimes have refurbished VanMoof bikes available. These are checked, repaired where needed and sold with clear information about condition, compatibility and known weak points.
This is not mass resale. The goal is to give existing bikes a second life and avoid sending repairable bikes to scrap.

How to book a repair
Send the bike model, the error code or symptom, and a short description of what happened. Describe the behaviour of the bike, not only the error code. A photo or frame number helps to identify the right version and possible parts.
