Practical information before booking a VanMoof repair, diagnostic check, parts request or pickup.

Are you an official VanMoof service partner?

No. Vanmoofista is independent. We specialise in VanMoof repairs, but we are not controlled by VanMoof’s service network. This allows us to diagnose freely, explain the real options, use repaired or reused parts where appropriate, and support older models that often fall outside standard service processes.

Do you repair before replacing parts?

Yes. The first step is diagnosis. When a part can be repaired or reused safely and sensibly, repair is preferred over unnecessary replacement. The goal is to find the real fault first, then repair, reuse or replace only what truly needs replacement.

Can every VanMoof problem be repaired?

No. Some faults are repairable, some require replacement parts, and some bikes are not economically repairable. Diagnosis is needed before this can be confirmed.

Why can the final price differ from the error code?

VanMoof error codes are symptoms, not complete diagnoses. A battery error can be caused by the battery, wiring, cartridge, connectors, moisture, or a combination of faults.

Do you work on heritage or non-electric VanMoof bikes?

Yes. Vanmoofista looks for practical solutions for every VanMoof model, electric or not. The workshop focuses mainly on older electric VanMoof models, but heritage and non-electric VanMoof bikes can also be checked by appointment.

How do appointments work?

We work by appointment only at the atelier in Lint. Send the model, error code or symptom, and a short description of what happened before booking.

Do you offer warranty?

Yes. Vanmoofista offers warranty on paid repairs and second-hand bikes. Warranty depends on the type of work, the part used, and whether the issue is related to the repaired fault. For full terms, see warranty information.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Within the Brussels-Capital Region: €30 one-way or €50 return. Usually once per week, on Monday or Tuesday. Other locations can be discussed depending on route and timing.

Do you sell parts?

Yes. The shop focuses on useful parts and repairable components for older VanMoof bikes: original parts where available, refurbished parts where sensible, and practical alternatives when original parts are unavailable, unreliable or too expensive.

What should I send before booking?

Send the bike model, error code or symptom, and what happened. Mention whether the fault appears while riding, charging, unlocking, after reset, or after rain. Photos and the frame number can help identify the right version.

Send the model, symptoms and error code. Diagnosis is the first step when the problem is unclear.
