This page explains shipping, delivery, returns, right of withdrawal, refunds and damaged parcels for webshop orders placed with Vanmoofista.

2. Shipping area

Vanmoofista ships mainly within Belgium, the Netherlands and the European Union.

Some products may not be available for shipping to all countries because of size, weight, courier limits, battery regulations, safety restrictions or practical handling limits.

3. Shipping methods

Orders are shipped using the courier selected for the parcel. Depending on the order, this may include Bpost, DPD, PostNL, DHL or another suitable courier.

The available shipping methods and shipping cost are shown during checkout before payment.

4. Processing time

Orders are usually processed after payment has been received.

Processing time may vary depending on stock, testing, packaging, workload, public holidays, courier pickup times and whether the product is new, used, refurbished or prepared after order.

If an order cannot be shipped within a reasonable time, Vanmoofista will contact the customer.

5. Delivery time

Delivery times shown on the website or during checkout are estimates. They are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

Vanmoofista is not responsible for courier delays, failed delivery attempts, incorrect addresses, customs delays, local delivery restrictions or force majeure events.

6. Tracking

When tracking is available, the customer will receive a tracking link or tracking number by email.

The customer is responsible for following tracking updates and collecting the parcel from a pickup point where applicable.

7. Incorrect delivery address

The customer must provide a complete and correct delivery address.

If a parcel is delayed, returned, lost or delivered incorrectly because the customer entered an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping costs may be charged.

8. Damaged parcel or missing item

If a parcel arrives damaged, the customer must contact Vanmoofista as soon as possible after delivery.

The customer should keep the packaging, shipping label, product and all protective material until the issue is resolved.

Photos of the damaged packaging and damaged product may be required to open a courier claim.

If an item is missing from the parcel, the customer must contact Vanmoofista as soon as possible after delivery.

9. Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers in the European Union usually have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason.

For goods, the 14-day withdrawal period starts on the day the customer, or a third party chosen by the customer, receives the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must clearly inform Vanmoofista by email within the withdrawal period.

The customer may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not required. Any clear written statement is sufficient.

10. Return deadline

After notifying Vanmoofista of the withdrawal, the customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day they informed Vanmoofista of the withdrawal.

11. Return shipping cost

The customer pays the cost of returning the goods, unless Vanmoofista agrees otherwise in writing or the return is caused by an error by Vanmoofista.

The customer is responsible for safe packaging and for choosing a suitable tracked shipping method.

12. Refund

For a valid withdrawal, Vanmoofista will refund the payment received from the customer, including the standard delivery cost of the original shipment where legally required.

If the customer chose a more expensive delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery offered, the extra delivery cost will not be refunded.

Vanmoofista may withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until the customer provides proof that the goods were sent back, whichever occurs first.

Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless another method is agreed.

13. Condition of returned goods

The customer may inspect the goods as they would reasonably be able to do in a physical shop.

The customer is responsible for any loss of value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Returned goods must be complete, clean, safely packed and returned with all included accessories, where applicable.

14. Products that cannot be returned or may have limited return rights

The right of withdrawal may not apply, or may be limited, for:

  • custom-made or personalised products
  • parts modified at the customer’s request
  • repair services already fully performed with the customer’s prior agreement
  • diagnostic services already performed with the customer’s prior agreement
  • products that cannot be returned for safety, hygiene or technical reasons after opening or installation
  • electrical or electronic parts that have been installed, connected, modified, damaged or used incorrectly
  • batteries or battery-related parts where return is unsafe, restricted by courier rules, or affected by use, damage or incorrect handling
  • goods damaged after delivery by misuse, wrong installation, water ingress, crash damage, tampering or improper packaging during return

If a product is excluded from withdrawal or has limited return rights, this may also be stated on the product page, quote, invoice or repair communication.

15. Used, refurbished and repaired parts

Some products sold by Vanmoofista are used, refurbished, repaired, recovered from donor bikes or tested second-hand parts.

Used or refurbished parts may show signs of previous use, cosmetic marks, scratches or minor wear. These cosmetic signs are not automatically a defect if they were visible, described or normal for the type of product sold.

The right of withdrawal still applies to eligible online consumer purchases of used or refurbished goods, unless a legal exception applies.

16. Warranty and defective products

The right of withdrawal is different from the legal guarantee or warranty.

The right of withdrawal applies when a consumer changes their mind after an eligible online purchase.

The legal guarantee or warranty applies when a product is defective or does not conform to what was agreed.

If a product appears defective, the customer should contact Vanmoofista before returning it. Vanmoofista may ask for photos, diagnostic information, installation details or a description of the issue.

17. Return address

Do not return products without contacting Vanmoofista first.

The correct return address and return instructions will be provided by email.

Parcels sent without prior contact may be refused or delayed.
